Truths and Promises

So, I strongly believe in basing my new seasons and heart’s desires on truths and promises, rooting them in God’s Word. Below are a few scriptures that drive the purpose and meaning of this site.

Exodus 13:21 “By the day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night.” (New International Version)

Exodus 14:21-29 God split the seas for the Israelites to have dry land to walk on and caused the waters to to flow back over the Egyptians. When the Isrealites came to an obstacle in their journey God made a way.

Deuteronomy Ch. 1 & 2 – It should have taken 11 days to make it through the wilderness between Egypt and Canaan (the promised land) but instead they spent 40 years in the wilderness. Only two survived from the original generation that left Egypt, and because of their disobedience in an 11 day journey, later generations endured the consequences.

John 11:40 “Then Jesus said, ‘Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?'” ( New International Version)

Romans 8:17 “Now if we are children, then we are heirs – heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.” (New International Version)

Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurable more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be the glory in church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever! Amen.”

We will discuss more about all of these through the blogs. If a link is available follow the scripture to a related blog.
